Farmer’s Market at Krankies to Open May 5

We may not have a 40,000 square foot grocery store downtown, but if you want to find some high quality and locally produced food, you should consider setting course to Krankies coffee at 211 E. Third Street every Tuesday from 11am to 1pm. These are real farmers using environmentally sustainable methods to market. The market will include vegetables, fruit, honey, eggs, goat cheese from Goat Lady Dairy, bread from Camino Bakery, and Krankies' freshly roasted coffee beans. Before inviting farmers to sell at Krankies, the Triad Buying Co-Op visits their farms to get to know them and their practices. We also allow only items grown or made by the vendors.” The Triad Buying Co-op is a cooperative organization whose members work together to purchasefairly priced natural products, to support local farms and businesses, and to build a stronger and more sustainable community.
