I recently had some car trouble and I went to longtime downtown business Douglass Battery. I was so impressed, I wanted to let others know about this great business that we have in downtown Winston-Salem. Jim Douglas and Joe Jarvis bought the company from Wilson Douglas, Sr. in 2007 which has been in downtown since 1917. Located at the intersection of 6th and Broad Street, it is a full service autocare facility which provides oil care, tires & rotation, brakes, A/C repair, coolant systems, Alternators, , Starters, Maintenance, NC Inspections, Electrical Services, & Fleet Service.
