Taken today in downtown Winston-Salem on Main Street just south of 5th Street. This shows the nice advantage of scooters in regards to parking. The scooter is locked to the sign.
Why isn't there dedicated motorcycle/scooter parking downtown? None of the downtown decks allow bikes. And other than the sidewalk of the deck across from the bus station, I don't know of anywhere you can park a bike all day downtown. (and you can only get about 6-7 bikes there.) Extremely inconvenient if you ride a bike and live or work downtown.

That is actually being worked on! You should contact the Bike Coordinator at the City of Winston-Salem.
I am heading to downtown Winston-Salem this Saturday for the first time and I wonder if on-street parking is free on weekends? Is there a time limit?
