We will have the third Gathering TODAY at Noma Urban Bar & Grill (corner of Marshall & Fourth Streets) from 5-7 pm.
So, you enjoy coming downtown for dinner, for drinks, maybe for work. Or maybe you’re one of the lucky ones who live downtown. You like the energy, the sense of community, the originality of it all. You are a downtown fan. We understand…we are too.
Downtown is a work in progress. We believe that’s why so many creative and enterprising people want to be involved with downtown, to have a voice, to share their ideas on what makes our downtown a cool place, and how we can make it better. And that’s why we are forming 500 Strong…our new leadership collective of enthusiastic, supportive individuals who believe earnestly in the importance of a robust and active downtown.
No matter what your profession or experience, we are calling all downtown fans and supporters to join us at a Gathering, a series of Thursday evening get-togethers. We see the Gathering as a place where we can talk openly about what’s going on in the center city, where we can forge new relationships with others who have a passion for creating vibrancy in our lives and in our downtown.
Our third in a series of Gatherings will include Suzy Baxter as our special guest. Suzy is the General Manager of the Nissen Building Apartments. We will have a different speaker each time.
