Business-recycling Workshop to be Held Downtown on Jan. 27

A workshop on Business Recycling will be held at the Community Arts Café Gallery, 411 West Fourth St., in downtown Winston-Salem from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Businesses of all sizes in the Triad area are invited to attend to learn how to establish a successful recycling program, from collection through disposal. The focus of the workshop will be on recycling consumables such as plastic, aluminum, glass, and office paper. The topics covered include:

- why is it important to recycle
- what are the new laws
- how to implement an effective recycling program in the workplace
- who to call to pick-up the recyclables recovered

Representatives from the The City of Winston-Salem Sanitation Department and private waste removal companies will be on hand for discussion following the workshop. The workshop is free but we ask that you register so we have an idea how many to expect. Food and drinks provided. Please register here.
