UNCSA Stevens Center Featured In New Daughtry Video

Downtown Winston-Salem: The Stevens Center of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) is prominently featured in Daughtry’s newest music video. From the group’s No. 1 platinum album Leave This Town, “September” was shot entirely at the Stevens Center on July 1.
Directed by Chris Sims, the “September” music video features singer Chris Daughtry, bassist Josh Paul, drummer Robin Diaz, and guitarists Brian Craddock and Josh Steely playing live on the Stevens Center stage, with photos from their past projected behind the band.

Originally a 1929 silent movie theatre, the Stevens Center is a magnificently restored neoclassical theatre located in downtown Winston-Salem. Donated in 1980 to the School of the Arts by Media General/Piedmont Publishing, owner of the Winston-Salem Journal and Sentinel, the facility reopened as The Roger L. Stevens for the Performing Arts in 1983 after a major renovation. The Stevens Center now serves as the primary performance venue of the university.
