Official City Tree Being Installed at Corpening Plaza- Tree Lighting Set For Sat, Dec. 4

The official Citytree is being installed as we speak at Corpening Plaza in downtown Winston-Salem! When all is said and done, over 20,000 lights will adorn the 40 ft. tree!

Make sure you join us for the annual Jaycees Holiday Parade & City Tree Lighting Celebration this Saturday, December 4th! The parade starts at 5:00 pm at 4th & Spring Streets, continues east down 4th St and turns south onto Liberty Street, ending at Corpening Plaza for the Tree Lighting.

The Tree Lighting begins at 6:30pm, so come help Mayor Joines and Santa Claus count down and flip the switch to light the tree! The Tree Lighting is presented by Piedmont Federal with support from the City of Winston-Salem, Duke Energy, 99.5 WMAG and the Winston-Salem Journal.
