Downtown Residents Association of Winston-Salem members recently judged the DADA holiday window competition on Trade Street. The winners were as follows:
• Studios 625 at 625 Trade St. won Best Overall Window for its “Modern Christmas Window With Christmas Tree Made Out of Hubcaps, and Modern Woman Shopping for the Holidays.” It also won Most Festive for its window depicting “Santa Being Naughty.”
• Imagine Flowers at 560 Trade St. won the Most Creative Window.
Others participating in the contest included The Other Half, Retro Art Ware, Fiber Co., Piedmont Craftsmen, Fennegan’s Wake and The Bubbling Well. Judges included Lisa Marie Field, Simon Phillips, Aric Norby and Katie Worley.
