The Salem College soccer team is back in North Carolina after a ten day trip to Italy. The team went 1-1 in their two matches in Italy. They also kept a blog of the trip you can see here - http://salemcollegesoccerinitaly.blogspot.com/

Also, I have heard from the school that Kelsey Rector (State Road, NC) became the first Salem College basketball player to score 1,000 career points. The senior scored a three-pointer with 10:49 left in the first-half against Piedmont Baptist College to eclipse the 1,000 point mark. The Spirits won the game 87-66, and Rector finished with 12 points and 9 assists.
