hey is that shirt made out of bamboo?

A homegrown local company named Eretz design recently produced some t-shirts for the DWSP.  The neat thing is that they were made out of recycled bamboo.

Here is a link to their website. http://www.eretzdesign.net/

Surprisingly, they are very soft and extremely comfortable to wear.

And to see if anyone is reading this, I am going to mail one of these shirts to a lucky winner.  All you have to do is be the first person to send me an e-mail at jason@dwsp.org with a photo of yourself in front of one of the downtown wayfinding kiosk map signs.  This photo will be published on the blog, so you must be willing to allow that.  But the shirts are valued at $25 retail and well worth the effort.

Congratulations Susan! We're glad that you like the bamboo tee. Our company (Eretz) is located in Liberty Plaza (102 W. Third Street, Suite 470) and we are happy to show off our shirts to anyone who is interested in seeing and feeling the greatest fabric on earth. Once you have worn one of our bamboo tees you will never go back to a regular tee again. Oh yea... be sure to check us out at the Piedmont Environmental Alliance Earth Day Fair on April 16th. We are supplying all of the volunteer tees for the event and have the organic tees available for purchase on our website. We will have a booth there as well so don't miss out. We're very proud of our "Downtown Winston organic tees"...and remember, green tee is good for everyone.

I bought a tee from Eretz and it was really cool. Man, this tea-shirt is the best feeling shirt that I have ever felt. My girlfriend will not let me sleet in it. Awesome.

I am a supporter of PEA and I just received my Earth Day t-shirt. Though it is not bamboo, which I have not yet felt, I love the feel of the t-shirt. It is organic and i love it. I really like this shirt. I met Garry, who is the owner and he told me something funny. He said, don't worry if you can't say Eretz as long as you cab wear its.
