Budweiser Clydesdales Stroll Through Downtown Winston-Salem

Downtown Winston-Salem has a very unique and great opportunity to host the World Famous Budweiser Clydesdales next week, April 19- 23. The DWSP has organized a parade for the famed Clydesdales through downtown on Tuesday, April 19. The parade along Fourth St. and Trade St. starts at 6:15pm. The horses will stop by Rec. Billiards, which still displays a photo from 62 years ago, when the Clydesdales stopped in front of the establishment. People are also encouraged to view the staging and preparation of the Clydesdales at the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts parking lot (corner of Holly Ave & Spruce St.) from 5:00- 6:00pm that same day.

Please see photo above for parade route. (The rain date for this event is April 20).

The parade will consist only of the Budweiser Clydesdales, a WSFD Engine Company and a WSPD patrol car. The same Clydesdales team will also make an appearance at the WS Dash games that weekend as a part of their homestand. We encourage you and your families to come downtown on Tuesday evening and watch this great event. Please feel free to pass along this information as well.
