Millennium Center hosts a different sort of event

Around 7PM on Wednesday night, October 12th, I witnessed the following phenomenon.  There were hundreds of small birds swirling in the sky over the chimney at the rear entrance of the Millennium Center.  I apologize about the photo quality, but I took it with my phone.

After consultation with a source at the local Audobon Society Chapter, I found out that these birds were Chimney Swifts.  You can learn about them here.

The Audobon Society has hosted Swift Watches, here is a link to some photos of their watch in 2010.
