Looking to "Buy Local" for the Holidays - Here is one example of many in downtown Winston-Salem

Associated Artists of Winston-Salem’s annual Winter Showcase exhibition (on view through January 6) features beautiful works by local artists – perfect for holiday giving. The AAWS Gift Shop showcases a variety of unique arts and crafts by AAWS members. Both the exhibition and Gift Shop offer works that fit every budget.

 The AAWS Gallery and Gift Shop are located at 301 West Fourth Street (next to Brew Nerds). Hours are Tuesday-Friday 10 am-6 pm and Saturday 12-4 pm.

AAWS is the largest membership organization for visual artists in the Piedmont Triad. Established in 1956, Associated Artists has approximately 400 members whose skill levels range from aspiring to professional. From themed group exhibitions in its main gallery along Fourth Street’s “Restaurant Row” to solo or two-person community exhibits at businesses throughout the greater Winston-Salem area, and from hands-on workshops to a multitude of volunteer opportunities, members are encouraged to grow and develop as professionals in their chosen media.
