Symphony Safari: Carnival of the Animals

At 2:00pm on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 the Winston-Salem Symphony will be presenting “Symphony Safari: Carnival of the Animals” at the K.R. Williams Auditorium. This will be the second Discovery Concert for Kids for the 2011-2012 seasons. In addition to the 2:00pm presentation, there will be pre-concert activities beginning at 1:00pm. The pre-concert activities, included in the price of admission, will include music, games, and opportunities to see animals from both the Forsyth Humane Society and the North Carolina Zoo. “Symphony Safari: Carnival of the Animals” will be conducted by Maestro Robert Moody, Music Director for the Winston-Salem Symphony, and as the title suggests, the symphony will be a musical depiction of a multitude of animals.

Ticket Prices:

Children two and under can attend for free

Single tickets: $5.00 for children, $9.00 for Adults

Tickets for both Discovery concerts, “Symphony Safari: Carnival of
the Animals” and “Space Rocks!”(April 28, 2012) are $24.00 for each adult and includes a free child subscription. Additional child subscriptions can be purchased for $5.00.
