Lanterns of Hope Library Program joins Summer on Trade finale w/ Brother Joscephus and the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra this Saturday! Aug. 28th

Lanterns of Hope brings together families of all backgrounds for a meaningful evening celebrating peace, unity, and diversity. Children and adults will make Japanese-style peace lanterns. Each participant will design a four panel lantern shade communicating their unique hopes for peace. At sunset ( or a designated time for this finale like 8:45 p.m. ) the lanterns will be lit with each person holding their lantern of hope to form a luminary parade of a common hope for a more peaceful and understanding world.
