The Oval Office under construction in the Bolich Building

Carlos J. Carvana is opening his first business, the Oval Office at 628 West Fourth Street in the Bolich Building. Although, this is his first business that he has owned, he has over 14 years of experience. Carlos told me today that the Oval Office is Hair Grooming for the man in charge. More than just hair care, the business will be a full service spa for men. The space is currently under heavy construction. The main salon will be shaped into an oval, hence the name.

The space was previously used as a hair salon and for a brief period of time a comedy club. This is not a simple painting and clean up conversion for a new tenant, it is a major overhaul and modernization of the space. This investment is another example of small business entrepreneurs making an investment in downtown Winston-Salem.
