I had the opportunity to visit Bailey South in the Innovation Quarter recently on a rainy day. One of the tenants, Black Mountain Chocolate has just opened, and I wanted to stop by and get some cookies to take home to my family. I also wanted to make sure I made good on my social media pledge #takeoutpledgews to buy as many things as I can during the COVID-19 pandemic. I hope you might consider taking this pledge yourself.
I have been following the construction closely, since the Press Release was issued back in June, 2018 (click here to read it) from Front Street Capital - ( https://www.frontstreetcapitalnc.com/ ) and have had the opportunity to talk with Coleman Team, developer of the project with Front Street Capital and long-time downtown Winston-Salem champion and business owner.
Front Street Capital hired Stitch Design Shop as the project architect and Landmark Builders as the General Contractor for this six-floor building with 75,000 SF.
The first two floors are dedicated to restaurants and retail. The remainder is office space.
